Georg Chmiel has approximately 30 years of experience in rapidly growing, disruptive online businesses. Georg has built significant expertise on a global scale in strategy, innovative technologies and corporatefinance leading more than 30 acquisitions and been taken over 6 times. He was instrumental in creating already 3 unicorns during his career and is known to significantly grown shareholder value for all companies he is and was involved in.

Georg is the Co-Founder / Chair of Juwai-IQI Holdings, the largest proptech group in South East Asia with more than 30,000 sales agents.  He is non-executive Chair of Space talk (ASX:SPA), Director of Centrepoint Alliance (ASX:CAF), the Prop Tech Group (ASX:PTG) and BUTN (ASX:BTN). He is also Senior Advisor of brioHR.com,one of South East Asia’s fastest growing HR platform and made Comfy.com,one of the most innovative short term and holiday rental platforms in Australia.

Georg was previously Executive Chair of iCarAsia (ASX:ICQ), the number 1 online automotive marketplacef or SE Asia (Malaysia (carlist.my), Thailand (one2car) and Indonesia(mobil123.com)) until its acquisition by carsome.com. He was also Managing Director / CEO of the iProperty Group (ASX:IPP) until its sale to REA Group in the biggest online take over in SE Asia at that point in time. He was non-executive Director of Mitula Group (ASX:MUA) until its sale to Japanese Lifull Group (TSE:2120) and Managing Director / CEO of LJ Hooker Group with 700 real estate offices across ten countries. Georg also held the position of Group CFO at REA Group (ASX:REA) which is now a decacorn. Georg also worked for KPMG, Deutsche Bank and McKinsey&Company.
